to be honest mate,and i know its a trek, but go to treevolution in snowdonia and you will be trained by probably the best instructor in the country(rich almond) who wrote the tree climbing best practice guide for the aa. awesome scenery and the chance for a walk up snowdon. couldn't reccomend these guys more!

there was a dodge s50 boughton conversion on flea bay recently with a 10 inch pto chipper behind the cab. it was awesome. wish i'd bought it really!

get someone to weld you up a frame and line it with ply. if you were closer id make it for you!

know what you're saying there, i can only speak as i find and in this area all i seem to see is pi**ys with "tree work" and a mobile no. on the door! lets hope that there is enough work for us all, guess we just have to be even more professional!

correct me if i'm being naive here but surely a lot of the so called arborists out there are only doing tree wirk till the scrap prices go up! and are probably unqualifed and unisured. i think if we keep doing a good job it'll be us that gets called back next year. the whole country is in recession affecting all trades. hopefully if we weather this storm we'll come back stronger for the next one!

sounds like a bent steering arm to me dude. i have heard of rangers bending bottom wishbones too. has it had a rack put in it? if it has and this wasn't centalised before it was installed then the problem you have would happen. just a thought?

just spent the day building a chipbox for my transit, Who'd have thought welding up a frame and bolting in some ply would be so hard! absolutely exhausted now, next truck i buy will be purpose built!
