  3. I've also got a feeling that they're burning the wood from the tree I cut down for them earlier in the year...So it's nowhere near dry enough! Cough Splutter!
  4. texteed next door and he came round. As far as they're aware its got a flu lining in. He's going to get his "bloke" round to have a look and see what the problem is. As a few of you have said it might just need rodding. Hopefully its not a brickwork issue..
  5. Evening Next door have started using their log burner. Everytime they light it I can smell the smoke in my lounge. I've an open fire but haven't started to light it yet this year. Is it normal that I can smell the smoke. don't want to go roun and say something if this is normal Any help much appreciated Cheers Jonny

  9. Evening This is coming down in a few weeks time. Going to need to shift the timber. Access is awful(7ft high car port to get under!!) so can get it out in rings. Suggestions on a postcard please....
  10. Morning I've been asked to price some woodland work and need to price in the hire of a digger with a grab to move the timber that's coming out. Can anyone recommend a hire firm that would have machinery like that?? Much appreciated as always Jonny:001_smile:

  15. Got a new 201 given to me by Stihl yesterday, as standard boggy on the trigger. Drilled 2 6mm holes in it this morning and soo much more responsive!
  16. Inn answer to the question above.. Yes, He tried to cut the saw out with an axe after it got stuck!! Moving on.... I came home Sunday night about 7pm, I could hear him with a saw(Again, he won't learn...) cutting up some of the wood to chop into logs. I sat outside having my dinner that night and wondered why it was taking so long to cut through each piece. Looked over the fence in the morning and you could see grooves in the lawn where he'd been cutting the timber!! I wish I could see the state of THAT chain!!!
