  1. Was it jimmy saville?...........
  2. I think youv misread my posts, im defiantly pro farmer .
  3. When did you get out?.........
  4. Part of the driveway to lord verlams place , the driveway was 2 miles long , house is like a mini Buckingham palace. All the titles ( lord/lady etc) they were very down to earth people. Didn't get a cuppa though:thumbdown:
  5. Do Fiat even make tractors anymore? good tractors Don't know if they still make them , but I drove one in the early eighties and it was THE tractor on the farm, way ahead of its time:thumbup1:
  6. Good work horses actually, whatever happened to ursus and Belarus. lambourgini and fiat?
  7. When did they make zetors with brakes?..........
  8. Most or quite probably all the old sayings are balls I reckon, Made up before we had the telly. I had a customer last year who only has 1 load of logs a year from me , had 3 loads because he reckoned it was going to be a very cold year because their was loads of blackberries. Mildest winter ive ever known.
  9. Apart from last year:laugh1:
  10. The majority of them.
  11. Reading through your post im guessing you don't really care for the farming community? But the brick that went through my windscreen wasn't thrown by some lowlife scum , but was simply an accident. Don't have an hgv or cpc?
  12. Mine : no a hilux, six wheeler: no , run of the mill tipper.
  13. A lot of laws are not implemented to agg vehicles as they have always been very slow vehicles I,e a bald tyre is not a problem as the tractor only travels at max 26mph, but nowadays we are talking 50 k and I believe fastrack are doing a 80k tractor. Tractors have evolved into slow lorries but the law is still in the 40s/50s fordsons etc
  14. Sure, but MOT is meaningless anyway really- its valid for about the day of the test, if your brakes fail 8 months down the line you can hardly turn around and say "it passed its MOT though" accidents happen- but bady secured loads- speeding- lack of lights etc all come down to operator error and should be fined/banned IMO Agree, unsecured loads/speeding are down to the driver and no one else, and can kill.
  15. Frank Bruno, what a laugh and a true gent:thumbup1: Bob monkhouses next door neighbour. Carol vorderman...........ok that's just my dream:laugh1:
  16. Exactly the same thing happened to me on a roundabout in Tottenham, a brick lodged between the twin wheels of a 6 wheeler, had to smash a hole in the windscreen so I could see up the m1, wasn't as graphic as that though..................
  17. Rain will soon be gone:thumbup1: replaced by snow coming in from the us apparently:thumbdown:
  18. unroadworthy vehicles- they should be heavily fined/ banned farmer or not. Bit of a grey area really as they don't need an mot/test. Who,s to blame for an un road worthy agg vehicle? the farmer ? he,s not a mechanic/mot tester.
  19. Basically they are. and have full backing from every government since the war. Which where it all stems from because the country was on its knees and farming was its saviour. How many pubs/shops/cinemas/factorys have closed in your lifetime? sure loads of small farms have finished to be gobbled up by the big boys, but you,ll never see a field barron unless its setaside.
  20. Understood now mark, as for foggy (I don't watch it) I reckon he could win anything if he has the mind for it as he did when he raced:thumbup1:
  21. Nothing will change simply because agriculture as an industry produces food, what other industry can run its hgv type vehicles on red and driven by a seventeen year old lad on minimum wage and pay no road tax, and Get paid for not producing their goods?
  22. looks like scots
  23. Proper 22 ton at £1400?
  24. All very interesting , but it still don't answer my questions, is the moon really made of cheese and is it true that adolf hitler was found dead at the controls of a boeing 747 on the surface of mars. Or was the sunday sport misleading its readers?
  25. Either im drunk and cant understand what you have posted, or your drunk and don't make sense.
