  1. could be either of those things, didn't know they'd effect it, i have put a fair bit of grease in the blade, and didn't even know the chain oil's had differant thinkness. although it has been running fine since i've had it (about 2-3 weeks). hell knows what to do, i'll get someone to look at it.
  2. done this and a bit of fuel came out but still won't start, just going to take it to get fixed after christmas. could be worse, maybe....

  5. don't wrry, didn't take it bad but i've checked all the levels, petrol, chain lube and greased the blade. it usually starts first time every time but it cut out half way through a cut and haven't been able to start it since. i'm going to a dealer tomorrow to get some boots and trousers so i might get them to have a look.

  7. cool,i'll have a look in the morning, after i put the plug back in then tried to start it, i took the plug out and it was a little wet but not much. i could just be me starting it like a moron....
  8. right, think i just didn't connect the HT lead when i checked if the plug was sparking because it is now, but still won't start. any other ideas?

  10. bet it is! i done that, just thought i'd check i was doing it right. no spark though!
  11. just checked the plug, brand new! and clean as a whistle. forgot the bloke had it services before i bought it. this may sound pretty stupid but how do you check if its sparking?

  13. i've recently just got my first saw, second hand. its a husky 345. its been starting and running fine but yesterday it cut out while i was logging some cornifer. now i can't get it to start. could it be something real simple that i'm just missing out? any help would be great. thanks

    sorry to keep posting on this subject but last time, promise:001_smile:. which boots would be better for, ground and climbimg? Husqvarna Leather Forestry Chainsaw Boots or Elten Aquafell Xpert, only i could get either for around £100. cheers.

    cheers for all your replies, didn't even realise there was a search bit... as im not to familiar with the whole arb thing, are all boots sutable for climbing? obviously apart from the husky wellies. oh and to Shreks Wee Brother, ive got a husky 345.

    yeah, basically dont know what boots to get i want some for ground work and climbing that aren't too expensive as its my first pair and i'm spending alot of money on everything else! cheers:001_smile:

    cool, thanks. ive got my cs30 booked for jan25th and cs 38 on march 8th, then book the 31 and 39. ive ordered the arboriculturists companion and a tree identification book, should be with me soon. next i need to know best boots for both ground work and climbing? and i'm not too sure about protection classification on trousers? any help would be good? cheers:biggrin:

  21. lesnar had problems with his intestines and will be out for a while, they thought he was going to die at one point. i've been to ufc 89 and ufc 105 and the atmosphere was amazing, definately recomend it! really strange, i'm new on here and didn't expect anyone to be into ufc/mma. its pretty cool!

    thanks guys, i was going to start a part time level 2 course without any practical but a friend of mine said that it'd be helpful but not until i've got my ticket as i wouldn't be able to work without them. hopefully all goes to plan! cheers!
