is there a problem with the chain oiler on these? the first bar on it kept going tight on nosewheel, finally got mad n bought a new bar, that has nipped up twice in last week too, only a few weeks old (bar i mean).? oh its 25inch..Ed

got ms460 a bit ago, had it ported straight away (stihl part) and re-tuned as seen until recently on pete's saw (mc'sheffry) then managed to drop the beast onto a well placed brick and cracked the tank underneath..which is the whole body and rear handle.. fixed within 2days at local stihl dealer, well happy with saw, powere through anything..Ed

hired a bigish rv 2yrs ago, think it was about £350 a week, had it for 3wks, from san francisco, drove to yosemite,saw the big trees (both kinds) well worth going, the rv should fit most places, drove up the coast nearly to oregon, best hol of my life, i'll put up some pics when i find them..Ed

customer had started felling, got scared and given up, wanted a price for rest of tree taken down.. managed to shove a 3ft stick into cavity on remaining stem, the guy called me as a 'back up plan' in case his mate couldnt push it over with some sort of machine.. asked him to let me know when they're doing it as i'd love to watch..Ed:thumbup:

a bit of careful placement on your vehicle is needed, you dont want to open sideloading door a bit and it says 'assworx', seen some funny ones but cant remember what they said now..Ed

could do with something showing the different stages of each fb development, a tall order i know but they look so different in some cases, also my pet subject- trees with an edible portion, whats good and what it goes with, im trying to make a couple of recipes called tree meals, just using ingredients from trees locally, maybe not for your book but any help accepted..Ed

dont you check for bats dean? if i remember rightly id just got stuck and couldn't pull me fat ass up again. first tree i've climbed this year.:blushing:Ed

armchairarborist nice looking boxers, we used to have 6! my girlfriends family have 1 now. they are great dogs. are yours docked?
the lil one is docked as she is about 4yrs old, the big one is younger and has an annoyingly long waggy tail.. can't have anything on coffee table cos he whips it off, i'll never get an undocked boxer again, i'll probably try to import a stumpy. took these pics on rannoch moor, 4hr slog up a hill n back, beasts were soaked through.. so were the dogs

Bob has one of my sons old jumpers, when it is cold. The only trouble is the hem is too baggy around his middle, and he keeps weeing on it. Solved it with a bull dog clip
