  1. is there a problem with the chain oiler on these? the first bar on it kept going tight on nosewheel, finally got mad n bought a new bar, that has nipped up twice in last week too, only a few weeks old (bar i mean).? oh its 25inch..Ed

  2. got ms460 a bit ago, had it ported straight away (stihl part) and re-tuned as seen until recently on pete's saw (mc'sheffry) then managed to drop the beast onto a well placed brick and cracked the tank underneath..which is the whole body and rear handle.. fixed within 2days at local stihl dealer, well happy with saw, powere through anything..Ed

  3. customer had started felling, got scared and given up, wanted a price for rest of tree taken down.. managed to shove a 3ft stick into cavity on remaining stem, the guy called me as a 'back up plan' in case his mate couldnt push it over with some sort of machine.. asked him to let me know when they're doing it as i'd love to watch..Ed:thumbup:

  4. could do with something showing the different stages of each fb development, a tall order i know but they look so different in some cases, also my pet subject- trees with an edible portion, whats good and what it goes with, im trying to make a couple of recipes called tree meals, just using ingredients from trees locally, maybe not for your book but any help accepted..Ed

  5. armchairarborist nice looking boxers, we used to have 6! my girlfriends family have 1 now. they are great dogs. are yours docked?

the lil one is docked as she is about 4yrs old, the big one is younger and has an annoyingly long waggy tail.. can't have anything on coffee table cos he whips it off, i'll never get an undocked boxer again, i'll probably try to import a stumpy. took these pics on rannoch moor, 4hr slog up a hill n back, beasts were soaked through.. so were the dogs
