  1. when i left school i had no idea what to do but liked cars n engines so got qualified as a motor vehicle technician, if id have gone into trees earlier i'd probably not be able to maintain my own machinery now so im pretty happy with the order i've accidently done things in..as for the future -who knows? no plans yet..

  2. cant beat disco for practicality imo, pulls 3.5t legally and easily, mines given me years of service and never let me down.. till this year, had new brakes, clutch, bootfloor, cylinderhead and glowplugs this year already..ouch, on a happy note its now got a rustproof bootfloor(aluminium) that the dogs can't fall through..Ed

  3. hi guys, going to see a client tomorrow who is seriously overlooked by a block of apartments behind his house, the apartment owners took down a large leylandii hedge on their side so he wants me to suggest a hedge to plant on his side.. to be maintained about 25-30ft, levelish ground, usually damp underfoot and shaded by mature trees on one side, any suggestions appreciated.. thanks Ed.

  4. one of mine is an awesome brash dragger, followed me up 3 flights of stairs an a muddy banking draggin a lime branch, got to top (grass tenniscourt for cutomers bonfire) i dropped my branches n went to get some more, stupid mutt brought her branch all the way back down too... was just thinking i was onto a good thing.
