  1. without turning this thread into a 'i've got less money than you' debate.. i really could do with a year of spending less and working 7day weeks, but the kombisystem is sooo nice and would do loads of hardwork and make so much money, SLAP..NO! no way, mustn't....spend.....money...:bash:

  2. i've got a sumach stags horn or is it a rhus typhina? (told customer it was both) to prune on monday, already wasn't looking forward to it as last one we did left brown stains inside my tailgate.. had to laugh when it disappeared from the firewood pile, no doubt staining someones choppingblock, axe, wheelbarrow, woodstore and stove haha. dya think it'll make good woodstain though?

  3. leylandii reduction and trim, took longer than anticipated and nearly called for a mewp as stepladder was a bit short, couple of local residents stopped to say they thought we had done a good job, all i can see is the flicky bits that i should go back up for.. very boring, got another to do tomorrow as well..

  4. You sure about that?

I thought that as long as it was away from fires (10 metres i think) and in a suitable container ie fuel can/combi can then it was fine:confused1:

Ours is just in a husky combi and goes where ever theres room to fit:thumbup1:

    Same as for the saws.

I know its of no help to you though, sry.

If its got to be locked up then who's responsible for the key? And should that key also be locked up also:sneaky2:

was told on nptc courses it can be on site in containers in shade etc away from workers, but at college doing foundation degree they told us its either in vehicle (mines in chipper hopper in builders bucket) or on lockable bund, of course i was probably half asleep and not listening at the time.. not sure where they got info from either.. so might be duff info,Ed:001_smile:

  5. at first i wondered what he was farting around at.. then it was obvious but still looked like hard work.. then it looked good in the end:thumbup1:

isnt it them that have spiders n stuff under the fringe? so srt is the way forward and work down..

  6. nah man get yer chainsaw trousers on an run upand down the stairs a few times.. couldn't find mi keys n fone this morning, had to sit down for a minute when i'd found them.. if you want to take it to the next level- set heating on full blast, put yer helmet on with muffs n visor down and do it two steps at a time carrying the dog.. or just remember where you left your keys and go do the same at work getting paid..

  7. went for a walk on friday in the woods, spotted a tree that sticks out over all the rest, think i'll nip up it before the leaves pop out.. obviously with a second climber, and a camera, and maybe some sarnies, oh & the dogs of course.. might even set up a cool swing weeeeee.
