passed this a few weeks ago somewhere in wales, think it was near bala, probably not the longest but a whole minute at 50mph to pass the mature bit of it, looked like it goes right round the property too..[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2p3c1QIs-Qo]

spotted my first mini chipper in action today, sat on back of a landscpers transit pickup, they were cutting small branches up and feeding it twigs and it was blowing chip all over the place, then all the sweeping up. maybe they were just making it look like hard work? ..fairies

got YEDL to give us an 'out' for a couple of hours, broke the mewp hyraulics after we got the crown out, just stems left as wires went live and mewp was fixed, YEDL man (wearing marigolds) said it was ok as there was just over 2m between basket/stems and wires, obviously if there had been any branches left we would have had to arrange another 'out'..

we hire in lights and extra cones for road closure jobs, red lights dont mean everyone stops though, must always notify highways dept at la, usually takes 2wk notice, once had to wait 10wks as there were other temporary lights nearby.. highways then inform emergency services and if possible they will use other routes,
