  1. found it lastnight in scotland stuck to a tree on my dads land, its about 6inch across and 10inch tall, soft enough to leave a fingerprint in, looks like its full of round lumps, if its identified as a bad thing then it will be incinerated, if its a goodie then it needs identifying and protecting, not likely to be a lump of putty im afraid as nobody goes close to this bit, please help.. Ed

  2. i cant find fault with my protector pro's, well worth the money and so comfy right from the start, take the beating well and usually wear them when in not working as well. however i know someone who had sole coming away on the brown ones (with spikes under sole) after a few weeks showed them to haix guy at aa show and was told that it was evident we didnt appreciate the technology that went into them... the pratt didnt appreciate how close to a pasting he was..

  3. tell them how much you expect it to cost at the start of the job, as well as giving them a weekly invoice for how much you have done that week, then you dont have to wait till end of job to get paid and can walk away at any time if they happen to have no money or pull a fast one..

  4. oi we had to cut em down too.. well climb them and reduce from 30ft to 10ft against direction of wind without breaking bt lines or dropping on road etc etc.. and not getting landy stuck on grassy sideslope (or rolling it) while looking out for nesting birds yawn..

  5. trying to think ahead and plan for unexpected meetings with scum i always expect i'd use the landy as a deadly weapon and hope it still drives away afterwards, or the felling axe in the footwell, sounds like a nasty little turn of events, confrontation is never nice.. best keep a lookout for them in near future.
