  1. graphite grease? must have been previous person who greased it as i'm on regular grease, only bought machine from orange plant (york) in december 2009, looks like i'll be removing all that grease now and set to worry about the damage already caused by graphite grease then..

  2. Huddersfield. West-Yorkshire, need a climber tomorrow, (friday 9th april) nothing awkward just a days deadwooding a few semi-mature trees (tiny bits), pm me or ring mobile 07747022678... obviously must have tickets to show, thanks Ed

  3. just over the border in scotland, an old quarry im clearing for my dad. the swamp isnt that deep as it was part of last years landy bash, once the trees are cleared it will be drained and used as a quarry again, don't worry theres plenty more trees left up there:thumbup:

  4. noticed the bottom feedroller was way over to the left and starting to gouge a circle in the housing, pulled a couple of bits off the machine to investigate and found some polyprop rope/string round the rollershaft on rhs, removed it and refitted but the rollers were central until i greased the nipples then they jammed hard against the left hand side, levered them back a bit but they seem biased to the left now, ran machine to make sure its ready for tomorrow but they still seem to sit to the left a bit much, will it be ok to use?

oh the rope must have been in the last load of branches last week or we would have noticed it sooner.. thanks Ed.

the foden was once a tractor unit, till my dad decided to shove a bogey under the rear, lengthen the chassis and pop a crane on, worked a treat for pulling logs out of the quarry:thumbup:
