  1. good thread this.. anyone else seen that LG tv advert with the elephant that climbs the tree in the jungle, sticks its head out the top of the canopy to see an amazing pink purple orange sunset, all in HD or to sell a big posh telly or summat?

  2. thats one of them tommer:blushing:, i bet them wooden balls take ages to get spherical, theres a rough one at myerscough, nowhere near as finished as them though, i might give it a go, if they look rubbish i'll just roll em down the nearest hill..if they roll that is

  3. guy who taught rigging course at craven college, think his name was phil lowe or something, makes ace bags in loads of different sizes out of waterproof thick material, he trades under 'lowe maintainance' and they are exellent quality.. if anyone has his number i'd love to get some more from him.. mine holds rope harness helmet etc krabs throwline and strops, with large opening pockets, bright orange too. i'l pop up a piccie if i can find one

  4. my dad told me a tale from his REME days, they were servicing a load of sankey trailers with a guy fetching them in one by one, the guy got fedup and connected about twenty together and drove them all together like a snake.. as he got near the door the staff sargent stopped him and told him off for being a smartass -said if he was so clever he should reverse them through the door, needless to say they all went different directions.. would have loved to have seen that.
