-
yes Tom, crow wood is at myerscough somewhere, not sure where exactly, try looking round for a couple of saplings with a nest or two near the top, them cutbacks are a killer..
im sure unc dunk will direct you:001_tt2:

if i remember right the first machine scoops out the rootball and then its wrapped/wired etc, the second machine cuts and holds rootball while shaking all the soil off for bareroot sales, the machine on ebay i guess is like either of these..

full suspension is for fairies, you need to feel the ride, i would consider front fork suspension as i have a habit of bending front forks forward on landings, but at least you will get fit with power-sapping rear suspension.. doingy doing:thumbup:

i have a 2003 ms290 and its still going strong, its a bit underpowered but keep it razorsharp and its good for most stuff, you wouldnt want a bar longer than 16inch on it and it doesnt cut fast on big stuff but for sitting next to chipper for nipping branches up its perfect.

we sometimes get chestnut that we could put in a kiln, you say small kiln out of an oil drum - i may sound daft but is it that simple - just fill tightly your oil drum, drill holes in bottm which becomes top? tip upside down and seal around with sand, stand on tiles? is this right? as would like to give it a go
im puzzled now too, how does the sand seal it if its on tiles? where does the fire go? its making my head hurt.. im off to lie down (under the landrover)..

another fun childish one is to repeat them word for word until they are bored..

do you mean the cooling fins? shouldn't make much difference if any, obviously air cooling these fins is the only cooling the engine has. if the rest of the fins are clean then you still have a good surface area for cooling.
how did the accident happen? i nearly drove over one of my saws yesterday..

any chance of it spreading to nearby very nice huge beech trees? im there again monday and get some pics of layout etc..

that sounds familiar now Tony, the tree is fairly covered in it, right out to the tips of the branches.

worked late tonight, yes i got jca in to trial treat these trees, customer was willing to pay so why not? i know its only a trial for now but if it works then thats brilliant, and if it doesn't then its a lesson learned from experience. in my mind its the right thing to do as regards testing in the real world. yes the solution used is now stable for up to a week unlike the regular allicin which is useless after 24hrs, it is stored frozen and defrosted before application. nice to do something different for once and will be monitoring these horsechestnuts regularly. i believe testing on stock trees is being undertaken as we speak..

id look to my woman who is clever with computers an stuff and she would google it.. typing in things like cheapest, closest, etc.. then find that everybody who does courses at reasonable prices cant organise a date because they wait until 4 people are interested.. Ed.
