have same problem on 6mth old stihl hedgetrimmers, have to 'choke it to death', seems to have fixed itself and now the blower has started doing it..
-
it was the biomes bit i was mostly interested in, needed in depth info , but the rest looks just as deep.. thanks for sharing, im pretty poor on the computer for finding stuff.

you are asking a lot there, was honeymoon 6 or 7yrs ago:blushing:, the pics are in a box covered in dust on top of the wardrobe, mr blair would have me throw them away as they havn't been used for over a year, i'll try to scan some in later:thumbup:
-
nice find hama, could have done with that 6mth ago for an assignment at myerscough, scraped a pass without it anyway but i'll read through sometime as a refresher..
-
really nice pics:thumbup1:, done ballooning in egypt and loved it, we did it early morning as the sun was rising over the nile and sahara, would be ace to do it somewhere i know well..
-
yeh that bloody hurt.. if it happens again i damn well will cry..
-

dont be tricked into buying them cheap ratchet straps, they hardly reach across the trailer, well miffed first time i tried strapping the old landy down on trailer and it wouldnt reach all the way, as well as the ratchet handle too short to get loads of leverage:thumbdown:
-
laddo had day off sick thursday, throwin up etc, either from heat or fumes from hedge trimmers, or both, he was sat in the sun all dinnertime + working all day in sun, need to drink before you get thirsty, or maybe he wanted a day off in the sun with his bird? hmm
-
mobile rang thursday, guy said-'ive got a bush needs trimming' -nearly laughed at them, asked what area, he says 'its not mine its my mother in laws' -nearly choking with laughter now i asked again what area, he said ' between her legs- i asked if it was a prickly one and he said yeh-very and hung up.. and heres me tryin to sound all professional and not laughin down phone in first place

on a saturday? saturday is for laying down (under landrover) got a stack of overdue spare parts on standby, have a good wknd - dont forget ya blower:thumbup:
-
Has nobody ever told you, blow-job is just an expression?
blower is ace for dryin sweat behind ya knees, cooling ya down fast etc, climbin in the sun can be a killer(so can groundying), 2ltrs of water doesnt last a morning never mind all day. could have wrung out my t-shirt after 25mins dismantling a larch this afternoon..

whats holding the backrest up? looking good so far:thumbup1:

thanks dean i'll find time this wknd to check it over. previous owner nicely installed a later bulkhead and mashed all the wiring for me as well as welding on a new rear crossmember with rear loom still inside:thumbdown:, lost count of all the wires i have cut and bypassed, if i had a spare vehicle to use i'd sort this one for good with a loom and plenty solder..

at first it looks like im out of fuel, then i notice temp gauge is at bottom too, also indicators going out, just used my last fuse from my stash.. anybody know hand signal for 'im going to brake suddenly -swing right a bit then turn off sharply left into a hidden driveway?
-
wow 2000 30amp fuses for £47 delivered..
sounds a bargain as landy is eating 30amp fuses at a rate of 1 or more per week.
or maybe i should do the ultimate bodge (no not tinfoil) two male spades with an inch of wire:thumbup: like the previous owner did! one day this truck is having a new loom:thumbup1:

talking to a ex-tree officer from southern parts, she said the local scrote yobs had been nicking chainsaws from sheds and attacking trees in woods/parks/streets etc for fun.. big ones too, very sad. i dont know if this still goes on but very dangerous too..
-
taller tyres would give better mpg unless they are wider aswell, mines worse on fuel now with muds, wider and taller with lugs churning the air, i havn't got stuck since i changed over though:thumbup:

had one of these harmless thingys(forgot its name) getting interested in a freshly felled larch stem, last saw one two years ago on freshly cut scots pine. both times the creature was intent on sticking its thingy in the timber..
