Thanks, yes it was a cool spot, sadly I couldn't get closer as it was behind a fence. We were driving past and I sort of made everyone stop at the and hike back up the road so I could get a photo... they were very understanding lol.

Thanks, it was hard to get an ok picture of them with my camera, there isn't much in the way of adjustment so they kept looking a bit overexposed, I liked that one best though. Thanks for telling me what the purple one is- flowers aren't my strong point and I had no idea! Yes a really good day thank you.

I had a very interesting day today learning a bit about this. Thank you very much to Cousin Jack from this forum (and his friends Karen and David) for letting me go along. I had a good day and look forward to doing more of it in the future. The woodland was very pretty so there are a few random photos too!
