  1. I looked at using the 3:1 with an ascender but the lockjack didn't really work with it. I've got a week off now to play with it now though!

I'm organising a rec climb at loddon on a146 at the end of january, would be good to have as many people as possible. I'll put up a thread when I get a date sorted.

  2. Hi Ian. How are you getting on with your rope wrench? Would you be interested in a rec climb in norfolk sometime?

  3. Guess what I've bought! Should be with me before xmas so I'll have it for the 31st

  4. Not sure,i usually upload from my pc. Maybe ask one of the mods/steve bullman

  5. Any chance you could upload the photos from last weekend mate?

  6. Briefly, and it's pretty similar, can be real smooth. The only reason I don't use it is because I find I get cramp in my arms on long days in big trees with small ropes, but if 11 is what you're used to I'd stick with it

  7. Yeah you can use it with anything 11-13mm. When you buy them they should come with two cams, one for 11/12 and one for12/13mm. It takes a while to get used to it, and to break it in so it runs smooth. Probably about two weeks and you'll be flying!
