  25. Just got a phone call of the mrs saying that 17 hawthorns have been cut down in here field and she hasen't asked any one for the work. So we rang the land owner as we rent it too keep are horses in and have done for the last 2 years with out any problems The horses use the hawthorns as shelter in the winter and to itch them self's on it. The land owner hasen't ask for any work on the trees either and now where at a compleat lost on whats happend or what to do.Who ever has done it have left the stumps 2-4high off the floor The hawthorns have grown thru the cast iron fence from the public part and some are on the land we rent the stumps are now dangerous and leaving holes in the fence where the horse can get out.Plenty of people in the village seem them doing it but no one thought to ask or take the number All i have was a van and two people thats it. The work was carried out just outside of Grantham Any idea on what i can do now
