  1. I don't speak a word of German, but I can just imagine the translation. "If the groundie had only done what he was told in the first place!.... Honestly - you just can't get staff these days.......... Can't you see who I am.... with the hi-viz jacket an' all!" Thanks for the laugh, Gorkde.
  2. I think you can get something like your description on ebay. From what I can remember, it was used by police or prison warden to secure bunches of keys - so it would support a handsaw, and not be too cumbersome. Might be worth a search?
  3. I usually just stand and curse alot. I think Treewarrior's advice might be a bit better than mine?
  4. I use either 85cm or 90cm Ocean E2E sling on a hitchclimber. It keeps sitback to near minimum but allows your fingers to span the friction hitch. Be careful that your spliced eye doesn't interfere with the hitch though - a longer hitch cord would allow the hitch to sit above the spliced eye.
  5. I agree that more pictures should have been taken. Remember those pics were just of everyday events - as time passes they have become more precious. We should all take more pictures of the events today - otherwise how will we show our grandchildren what it was like back in 2009! Great pictures Flaming-ace - thanks.
  6. Thought I'd throw my dog into the show too. It's just like Crufts, eh? His name is Tanner. He's an Irish Terrier - knee high and enough teeth for a second mouth.
  7. Hi, just a query to anyone who might know. Where can I find the side-strap accessory for the Petzl Navaho Variobelt? I've the harness from way back, and thought this might be a way to make it a useable spare. Answers on a postcard please. Thanks.
