Would be interested in getting some feedback from those who run their own business regarding the following question from Tech Cert exam paper...... A contractor has made a significant profit at the end of the financial year and has full order books for the foreseeable future. Outline the options available to the contractor to invest the profits towards the growth of the company. Give examples of how each option may affect both the hourly rate charged by the contractor and the work output of the business. Thanks in advance.

    Sycamore

These were taken about 35ft up a Sycamore. Is there a possibilty it could be an old lightning strike which has subsequently succumbed to extensive decay? Or any other thoughts?

  17. Where did you get it from?? From Ian or somebody else? How you getting on? Feeling confident?
  18. Does that not relate to the exams in october as opposed to the written exams next week though? Yea I;m fine thanks.....getting on with it...spent pretty much Fiday night through to Sun night going through all the exam papers. Have Friday and next Monday off work so will put a 4 day stint in. 1 day per module probably.
  19. Where didi that question come from? Haven't seen that one on my past exam papers.

  24. He's going to be more use than not having any idea of what to do. Hopefully he will never be needed but if in 6, 9, 12 months time he is needed then as long as Dean is keeping him on the ball....practising rescues every now and then, giving him a little climb once in a while then surely its better than him looking up into the tree going 'err...what do i do?'
