  3. To what extent is Laburnum poisonous? I have a nice lump which i'd like to work with (Make something). Was just wondering what precautions should be taken as I heard the whole tree is poisonous. What does this mean?

  8. Just a little teaser.... This beauty is in Kensingtion gardens......Any takers on species?
  9. These are pictures of limbs......we monolithed the tree to about 6mtrs at which point there were no signs of decay. Had a couple of limb failures in the past quite close to stem so can only presume decay has spread to the limbs you see here.

  11. at the end of the day.....anybody who posts photographs on here has to be open to debate/critique. If not dont not post them.

    made a 3 way with alpine butterfly with pulley attached.....attached to a sling around another big beech......worked a treat.
  14. endoscope is great.....coming face to face with macro'd beetles and other alien beings.......and yes Dean I think we've all shoved it up our noses.....very mature aren't we?

  16. Had to make this oak safe. Used the mewp to carry out bat checks with endoscope and then reduced to monolth......got called to another job so you'll have to wait for piccie of the monolith. Enjoy.

    left as a mono of course.....cameras checked in at the gate??? Only the competions. Thanks once again for the book David, a great reference......took down the big dead oak at Barn pond you guys were looking at, some fine pics of the mewp at work.....will post soon.
  18. pictures from yesterday...... Meripilus at its base and Limbs infected with Beech bark Disease.....sitting at top of steep slope with around 30% lean over pembridge lodge gardens, Richmond Park. A fine days work indeed.
