  8. Maybe I'm just risk averse then when it comes to my own personal welfare as I also may not, get the minute it falls over. I think this is why I'm struggling to get my head round all this. I know we live in a litigious society, and I hate the fact that this is the case. I understand duty of care and negligence but just feel common sense has taken a vacation...! Maybe once I'm working in an environment where I am faced with other peoples personal welfare and possibility of harm rather than just my own, I may "get it"? PS, I'd still stand under that tree, and if it did fail, I'd just move out the way... but that's just me:biggrin: Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. 1/1,000,000 chance then?: biggrin: I'll camp under that tree for those odds... I do admit, that is a very difficult hazard tree to retain, but I'd have a go Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. The text is all mine, we had an assignment brief to work off, and a basic structure as a guide from session notes, but no template as such and no predefined text. I just did a LOT of trading and research:biggrin: That tree is only 5 mins from me and had been like that for at least the past 5 years Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. Got one of my marks back from a uni module today. Twas the tree survey and inspections module, now i have never done an "official" report before so this was my first real attempt. 88%, well chuffed:thumbup: If anyone wants a gander, its here. Ignore some of the minor editing, had too make a few changes to create a pdf file. PS, this is NOT a legal report, just one i had to put together for college, all real data has been hidden or edited and no claims can be made from it:lol: Tree Hazard Report edit.pdf
  12. Any chance of sharing this calculation? I just can't work out in my head that if i stand underneath that tree for 1 minute, i have a higher chance risk of becoming a cropper..? 1 in a million chance, i quite fancy them odds:thumbup:
  13. i've got 1gb a month on my galaxy 2, i use it wisely and manage to spread it out, but how on earth are you supposed to only use 1gb on a 4gb network:lol: Should be unlimited really

  17. i'll try to put one up without the soundtrack or other royalty free music, but i did the original edit to the beat of that song:biggrin:
  18. I'll try Gerbutt, but i think i might not be possible due to the music on there and copyright. I'll see if i can change settings to see if that works

  20. That bit I pulled out in the photo, was definitely half dessicated (old). I know you can't tell from the photos but that area of cinnamon colour definitely had tubes present. Don't know what the purple coloured stuff was right at the bottom though? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. I'm telling ya mate, I feel great, never ate loads of crap anyway and fast days just fly by now. Ask Dave (Huck), think he's still doing it too Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. Yes the piece in my hand was from a FB in that little niche under the dysfunctional section. Been doing the 600 calorie thing 2 times a week since October last year. Have a small breakfast, black tea or lemon water during the day then a small but tasty and healthy meal for tea. To be honest, it's harder when I'm not working as when I an I don't really think about food. I don't feel lethargic and still on a fast day after work cycle 30-40km. In fact since October last year I've lost a stone, mainly belly fat from round my middle and feel great... Apart from a dodgy knee coz of all the cycling, my back is even better:thumbup: Didn't really do it for losing weight, did it more for the health issue related to cholesterol, hearty disease, cancer and the like linked with the growth hormone igf 1 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. Fast day today.. Black tea till teatime, only 600 calories today! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
