  2. i take it the sphinkter muscles are in good working order then haha
  3. Found this, full version of ash and oak i think... If the Oak is out before the Ash, T'will be a summer of wet and splash; But if the Ash is out before the Oak, T'will be a summer of fire and smoke. When the Hawthorne bloom too early shows, We shall have still many snows. When the Oak puts on his goslings gray, 'Tis time to sow barley, night or day. When Elm leaves are big as a shilling, Plant kidney beans if you are willing; When Elm leaves are as big as a penny, You must plant kidney beans if you wish to have any.

  9. i'd have to have a small bonfire with 1mil I'd leave my job by buying a helicopter, flyin it over my bosses yard then abseil down from it wearing a nice tuxedo and then i'd smack him round the chops, i'd then buy all the big boys toys i could ever dream of and swing from the treees like a monkey Just reading back at this i think it sounds to elaborate... i might just be sensible and buy a small island and go live there...

  16. i have a distel and pulley on my sidestrop... cheap compared to other methods but still easily adjustable one handed
  17. not come out unfortunately i will get some more this week in good light conditions... The tree had a very high amount of fruit a couple years back and has since suffered with very little fruit at all... half of the foliage at the moment is of a silvery colour, i have also asked my dad to sacrifice one of the "infected branches" to check the heartwood for staining, again another symptom of silverleaf
  18. nice idea there... i do have long arms but not that long so i might trey that little technique
  19. Hey guys, me dads plum tree i think has got a disease.. Symptoms include brown/purple patches (like its wet but not) on the bark, sticky sap leaking from the tree branches, dark nobbles and a whitish/silvery leaf.. My first thoughts are either silverleaf or a bacterial canker, but would just thought i'd ask to see if anyone else knew what it could be and if so how best to treat it. The pictures i've attached are of the leaking "sap" the others pics haven't come out well as it was going dark last night when i looked at it..!! Any ideas?
  20. a) the tree isn't identically symmetrical? b) the tree is taking IN oxygen instead of throwing it out? c) its a bonsai and everything else is a scale model? d) there's a party going on inside the crown and someone forgot the beers? e) all of the above f) none of the above i dunno i give in
