    I need a job

As the title states, i could do with a job. Am in full time arborist work at the moment but i don't think for very much longer. We had an unexpected tool box talk this mornin where the boss has said he has to let people go. 6 out of the 18 staff are going to be made redundant but by my reckoning 5 staff are safe so its 6 out of 13..!! We do Landscaping, Fencing and Tree work, but for a while now the tree work side of things has slowed down. Out the current crop of staff as well, i'm last one in and don't have a pre 97 license so i can't see me on the "staying" list I have cs30/31/38 & 39 but have done a hell of a lot more just not been able to afford other tickets at the mo (i have paid for them all myself) I have been climbing for 3 years and am quite competent and also make an excellent groundie if i do say so myself haha (although i want to climb). I have my own kit bar any saws (another expense i have to save for) and will travel all over lancashire, gtr manchester, merseyside areas, may go a bit further if the insentive was there.. Looking for anything at the moment to keep my head afloat and look after me kiddies.. If anyone can help or even just give me a whiff of an opportunity i'll snatch at it Cheers Robin

  8. Just thought i'd say what a beautiful place North East Yorkshire is. Never been before and took the kids and wifey for a weeks camoing in our new tent. I always thought parts of lancashire were idyllic and scenic (others not so) but yorkshire just seems to scream pituresque living... We drove from Scarborough to whitby on a road a forget which one but but for as far as the eyes could see was purple fields of heather surrounded by a backdrop of new pine forests. Absolutely breathtakin I'll upload some photos when i finally get my computer to work properly again as i have hijacked the parents PC at the moment..
