Went to visit a family member while I was there a discussion About removing (direct fell ) 6 20ft conifers Was had this discussion ended with me felling all with only a axe and old bow saw old tools and hard work but loved every minute anyone still use old tools

Can a normal felling axe be used and is there a technique ?? Seem like something I'd be interested in

We've had signs ,tape and safety watcher and they still blatantly stepped under the corden and walked straight across the fall zone
