Hi, I am looking for a climber/groundie. Full-time/part-time/employed/self-employed - i will consider anything for the right candidate. We are based in Rutland and undertake tree work, mainly for domestic customers, in Rutland and surrounding counties. Everything from pruning/felling/dismantling and stump-grinding to planting and some consultancy (we don't do a lot of hedge cutting!) I am looking for a climber with minimum 2 years experience (climbing) to join our small and successful Arb Approved company. We undertake mainly domestic tree work in and around Rutland with a very strong reputation and a loyal customer base. I am looking for someone with good attention to detail, punctuality, politeness with customers, and someone who is a team player. In return you will receive experience in a variety of tree works, work with a great team, and £90-120 per day (depending on experience). You must have CS38, CS39, and a driving licence. Hi, I have a number (?) of tons of Hardwood - mostly Walnut, Maple, Ash and Cherry in various sizes - mostly 3-4' lengths and <30-40cm diameter, but also some larger rounds (which are shorter). Probably 40-50cu.m in all. At my yard in Rutland I will consider any sensible offer - please PM if interested

I have two large(ish) Sycamores coming down in March and at the moment my yard is full of timber and I have nowhere for the timber from these trees. Both trees are in a front garden and close to the road (with a 2.5m tall hedge between them and road), and near Stamford, Lincs.. Anyone interested? I will consider all offers. One tree has a lot of flaking bark at the base and the crown is not too clever (a couple of large snapped limbs in the last couple of years) - so I suspect the timber from that tree wouldn't be up to much for milling/turning but should be useful for firewood but I'm not sure about the other. T1 is ~25m tall, has dbh~1m and bifurcates at ~4m into two ~40-50cm stems T2 is ~18m tall, dbh ~0.7m and bifurcates at ~3m into two stems

We are looking for a self-employed groundsman or a climber for a small tree surgery company based in Rutland in the east Midlands. We undertake all types of domestic work. Applicants should have CS30, 31 and 38 as a minimum, and preferably CS39. It is essential that applicants are enthusiastic, motivated and take pride in their work.
