  2. [/ATTACH] Put some photos up like you said, ive not seen many of the giant you have about down this end of the country. This is my beast
  3. Hi. From experiance the mass produced ones are pants unless like one i saw, you ram a big cc bike engine in the back something like a r1 or something. If you build one put decent brakes on it , sounds obvious but the one my friend built was a liability. Be carefull if you use a cable for the excelerator, how you route it and keep it greased. We had a throttle stick open which was not fun.
  4. Hi I have looked up problems with Liriodendron Tulipifera, most put it down to different types of canker. The advice given was to prune out infected areas. If it has large areas of dead im not sure if it is off to tree heaven. Put some pics up and we will see what everyone thinks:gasthrower::gasthrower:
  5. Hey Mick Steve is still at the top ish, but not the uk. Gee atherton ( English) is world champ.Danny hart is the new hope for the uk. From my experiance i would stay clear of Race face cranks. Just my findings, but i spent £150 plus and they lasted all of 2 weeks. Truvativ is good on a budget or saints or xt if you are feeling flush. I have used xt and rate them.
  6. Truvavtiv do a 83mm bb. Try the gigapipe not cheap but cheaper than shimano. I think the Giant you have would have been fitted with truvativ from new, but prbably the cheaper crank set.
  7. Sorry just re read your post will look into the giants.
  8. hey fella I ride downhill Have had Ancillottis for years so always have to find odd bits. If you have strange bottom bracket size try Truvative loads cheaper than shimano and just as strong. Let me know what bike you have and ill try and help, i have friends who work in the industry. Ps Anytime your in Gloucestershire give me a yell i know some basass dh
  9. Fantastic machines mate, if you take that much pride in your mog im sure your tree work is very tidy. Nice neck of the woods bala, I ride my bike round there when they hold races. There is plenty of mog owners on this site, so get your Creation out there. Best of luck
  10. First of very good luck mate. The timborwolf is a very good chipper. If you plump for one, try and get one with either spare blades or blades that have just been sharpened. Unless you are good with repair work i would get the best one you can afford rather than a shed to do up. I used to work for a timberwolf dealer the only gripe anyone ever had was that the Spare parts are Bl**dy expensive.
  11. The Lucky footballer with a third leg
  12. Be very carefull of 118 118. Ive had all those police fire service shools booklets phone and say id agreed to do it. When i asked them when, the lady said last november, i was a little confused because i wasnt self employed in november. 118 118 are the worst company i have ever dealt with. The pressure from the sales team was stagering. They ripped me off £800 with noe service, after many many letters and phone calls i got £400 back. B*stards

  15. Yeh i will do thanks. As things are i either need a few more fairly big customers in gloucestershire or im going to struggle.
  16. Thanks for the replies. I will explain my reasons for wanting the job. I am currently running my own garden maintenance business which is nearly 2.5 yrs old. The first year was good with a good wage but as soon as the crunch hit i have strugled to pay my mortgage. I have had a few quiet months which is natural as it was the same last year. I need to get the regular money in other wise i will lose my house, followed by partner. I dont mind taking a pay cut to learn new skills and it does have good pension and holliday etc. I live in Nailsworth so about 3 miles down the road. Does anyone have any idea of wage after the initial one year training is over. Cheers Rob
  17. Im very interested by this as its 5 mins from my house. It is fairly poor money to start, Has anybody been through a similer set up and what is the money like when trained. Any help greatfuly received. Thanks Rob
  18. Hey up Metal Man its Rob from Collage. Was going to ask if i can come climbing Half term if your about.

  19. Yeh i am and that is Prescott hill climb if im not mistaken. Do you drive yourself, if so waht do you drive. Rob
  20. Grrr i hate customers telling me my job, Friday i looked at a job where a skip was required for some of the waste. I said from memory that the skip required was £93.00. No No said the customer they are only £40.00 i hired one!. When did you hire it i asked. Ohhhhhh three years ago i think said the customer. MMMMMMMMM i think they may have gone up and so know has my bill. The most common idiotic saying by customers is, i dont understand why the fence fell down we only put it up last summer. On closer inspection they have put the fence posts 11 inches into the ground using a mix of Cotswold clay and builders sand with a wisp of cement.
  21. You are correct, dont forget your x in front of bodnantense that loses you 1/2 a mark in an ident:001_smile: Bloody collage idents, we had the twigs last week. Some of the boys didnt recognise Quercus robur, i see trouble ahead.
