  1. They need to bring back the rope for this scum. A lot of my work is deer and pest control, the way things are you're terrified of getting caught up in something as you gun certificates will be revocked if you are anywhere near a fight. I know for a fact that decent guys have turned the other cheek or looked the other way because of the fear of loosing certs. I'm lucky to live in an area where muggings etc. are unheard off. Thank God!
  2. Hey Wee Shreck sees 1 of the calendars
  3. Axemen what a load of **** If I got anyone acting like that in the wood they'd be down the road in a shot. That lardy bloke "out fishing" he's an f'in maniac !!!! I know we can't all live in a HSE bubble but they're all a load of idiots, it just shows how advanced uk and Scandinavian forestry is. Oh and out there the new hi vis is realtree!!!!! I'll get of my soapbox now and watch the rest of casualty
  4. Buy a toyota! Landrovers are fine if you have nothing to do other than play with spanners and visit srap yards.
  5. The only use I've heard of for alder is for clogs or turnery!!! All wood will burn but alder is pretty hopeless although if its wet ground . for coppicing, sweet chestnut , hazel , sycamore I suppose it depends on what you want the crop for
  6. "Shrecks wee brother" , Lochaline Community woodland have one with winch , forwarder trailer etc. I'll try and get more info., could also arrange to see it.
