  1. I would guess that your TPO is an area one, not one specific to your address; I can't see another way of such scrappy trees attracting protection.  If I'm wrong read no further but if I'm right... if the Lawsons were planted after the TPO was placed they aren't covered by it; they don't look to be that old

  2. My suggestion was - perhaps wrongly - that the 1:3 ratio is out of date.  My Echo pisses its 28" bar; there's no 'nicer handing' about it!  Thinking about it I recently sold my 89cc 064 (why?!) and it's being used on a 36" bar; nae problem!

Tolerance of blunt teeth will be virtually zero though when you're pushing the bar length limits; you'll need to keep that chain sharp

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
