    Kindling

Just aquick question, got a never ending supply of clean wood for use as kindling. How much would a reasonable price be for a bag of about 25kg in size not weight, the size being a bag of sand. (small normal bags). The peices would be about 6 inches long and 20/25mm diameter. Any ideas of what I could charge for this. Just thought this could be a nice little sideline, not alot of money but would pay my petrol to get to work, and I would be recycling the waste wood, so doing my bit aswell!!!!!!!
  13. Yeah, man bags are very camp. If you were a bloke wher I live and carry a manbag, you would most likley be knocked up side the head with a can of special brew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Well good splitter mate, damn good effort looks really proffesional. Slow and steady wins the race and keeps your hands attached to your arms. M y old man works for Mc Alpines as a Fitter/welder come Engineer. He made a hydraulic log splitter aswell works wonders. Who needs to spend good money on something that with a little know how and determination you can make yourself.
  15. Cheers lads will look into it.
  16. I learned hedge laying from a bloke a work with at m,y farm, its wicked to know how to do but is very hard work, but very rewarding. The only thing that might put you off is the weather and the ditches, the weather because the hedge is usualy laid between November and March so its cold and wet, and ditches because the hedge is often found by a ditch so you gotta get in shite up to your knees. Apart from that its wicked.
  17. Cheers you lot, nice to see there is a few good people left in the world willing to give some advice. Thanks its very much appreciated!!!
