  3. Same as a car i think, ive gone past the police at 70 and they never bother me. Although if you get a sprinter you can get to a ton easily

  14. I cant remember, my dad would know... think its based on size. All our have planning permission but there big multispan horticultural ones.

Its half term next week, and the company i work for only have work on monday and tuesday, so im looking for some work wednesday till friday which is the 28th till the 30th I have about 3years tree work experiance and just over a years climbing experiance doing take downs. But id be happy with any kind of work really, climber, groundie, forestry based work, firewood stuff, hedge trimming, anything... i can turn my hand to most things Got a driving lisence, but its post 97 im afriad I have CS30, 31, 32, 38, 39, 45, 47, woodchipper and hedgetrimmer ticket also, think thats it. Based in Wellington, Somerset but willing to travel where ever my landrover will take me, have my own climbing kit and a couple saws PM me if i can be of help to anyone Tom
  16. I must of put up and skinned about 10 tunnels with my dad, if the weathers right its easy! Get your roles of polythene of the ground somehow so they can role freely (we used to get our polythene through avoncrop, but they have gone bust, you could try JFC monro) Run a rope across the top of the tunnel, and simply pull it over, it will be folded up so will be fairly narrow. Once you pulled it allthe way over, pull abit more, ensure you have enough to cover the ends! Then unfold the polythene and jiggle it about so it sits square, its all easy enough Securing it, you will ideally need some 4x2 rails or similar secured to the polytunnel hoops, ours are about 1.5m off the ground, you then use small pieces of battern wrapped around the excess polythene and pulled tight, then nailed onto the rails. Hope that makes sense, like i said its easy to do on a dry and still day, i can get some pics of the securing bit if its helps

  18. Yes thats the plan, ideally i would like a small yard tractor with loader and splitter in years to come, although il stick with the axe for the mean time
