  2. i was didnt realise nptc did a course in it. hedgelaying is something my dad mentioned i should look into. do you know how long the course is and fee's etc? cheers jamin

  9. it would appear the DSA are confused as from what i've read on their site to me it appears they contradict themselves. the test centre should hopefully be able to give me a definite answer thanks for the idea if not i will phone the DSA directly cheers ben

  11. hi, ive got my driving test in 2 weeks time and was wondering wether anyone new the rules on whether or not i will be able to tow a trailer if i pass. ive been told by some people it will be ok to tow a trailer up to 750kgs, however other people have said that in order to tow any trailer i must pass a car and trailer test. if anyone knows the answer please share cheers, ben
  12. sorry in the first picture can u see the caterpillar type creature? thats what i need to identify, sorry i wasnt very clear on that. and the 2nd picture was done in situ it was lying on the ground and hadnt fallen etc cheers
  13. first picture i need any ideas of what it could be, and the second picture i could do with knowing what sort of beetle may have created the channels, im affraid i didnt pay attention to what tree it was on at the time its only now i wish i had and recorded it any help is appreciated cheers
  14. the last 2 pics look very similar to the one i found and also a lot bigger! i put Polyporus squamosus into google and it came up with a link to wikipedia which had a lot of information on the fungi...how reliable wikipedia is though can be questionable! lol

  18. im doing a portfolio for pest and diseases at college and i photographed this fungi on an ash tree. looking in fungi books and on the internet i cant seem to find out what it is. any ideas? cheers
