    There is no access for anything from either side of the bank, only way to attack it is from the canal.

    Dragging it to a suitable location to extract may be the only option as all has to be removed. I have just been informed that they want the rootball removing too which is also going to be a challenge!!

    From what we have experienced, probably less than when its attached to the chassis, but time will tell mate!...there will be less bruised shins with it where it is

    We were impressed with it and against the greenmech we didn't find a massive difference in chipping capability. The sloping infeed is strange at first but like anything you get used to it. The heavy duty twin disc rotor seems to help its capability.

    We have taken delivery of the first upgrade from our old 150's to the new TW240 turntable machines. We have had one on demo for a week or so and we are impressed with its performance so will be swapping our fleet over the next few months - as machines become available.

    Nice work on the vid mate. No access behind the panel, its a severe bank all the way around on that side, then continues to fall away on the opposite side so no access for anything more substantial than a wheelbarrow!

    Thanks for the comments guys. I'll look into a barge with winch/crane as there is no access for anything else and even the opposite towpath is only wide enough for foot traffic! Picture of the remaining trunk as it is:

    We have been asked to remove a fallen Oak tree from a canal which is proving difficult to work out a safe method of work. There is no access from anywhere other than via the canal. The tree is still attached at the bank, part has been cleared by the trust but we have no idea how much is under the water - presumably half?! We need to remove all the timber and as much as we can find below...any ideas?
