  1. There was a guy running Taw tree services from from bishops tawton a while ago, although I haven't seen him about for a while. We are Taw and Torridge tree services. There is a Tarka in swimbridge not too far away. Most of the 'north devon' tree ... Ones are already about. I think Taw vale has a good ring to it, but a lot of people from surrounding areas would ring someone who sounded more local if that makes sense. You may be better going with your name or something away from a local area name and getting a wider audience over time. We do get people from braunton and ilfracombe way asking if we cover their area as we are Taw and Torridge.
  2. Hi Adam, we had a white transit and 2 guys (with the dodgy accent, & not the Cornish one) up here the other day, trying to sell knives, gens and dodgy chainsaws. They seemed quite interested in the unit.
  3. Tapley park (instow), worth getting hold of owner Hector Christie.
  4. As above post, I have always found xc weather to be the closest to accurate. Use it both for running the boat and work.
  5. Had these beauty's follow us back in from a lifeboat shout off Lundy last week Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. We went for the tt3017 with cage sides and plant ramps, pulls lovely behind the landy. Although we mainly use it for timber, or dragging the chipper to jobs further away (saves 2 vehicles towing) we have used it for chipping into, and it's fine. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

Silly season has started up here, 5 shouts since 11am yesterday, first one being a very tragic one. http://www.northdevonjournal.co.uk/Death-boat-capsizes-Bideford-Bar/story-20980176-detail/story.html Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. Morning all, just a quick heads up. Our local iss (Glendale) depot got broken into over the weekend. They have CCTV footage of a dark coloured ford cmax (people carrier) its got st alloys and those bright zeon head lights. The guy who lives next door disturbed them and they sprayed him in the face with a fire extinguisher before pegging it with a load of kit. Keep your eyes peeled peeps. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. Evening all, we currently use the stein pole set. Does anyone know if the big shot attachment that fr jones sells fits the stein poles, or if I need to order the other brand of pole set? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  13. Loads of trees over in north Devon yesterday, 6 call outs on top of our planned works, just off to one this morning where they were evacuated from the house late last night, top of a big cedar hanging over the house apparently. At least the callouts have paid towards the kit that got nicked last week, in a strange karma kind of way! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. Tell me about it, place in Merton got done over as well at weekend, and heard of a few others, looks like they had bit of a spree up this way over the weekend. Had a few tip off's all pointing in the same direction, but here is not the place to discuss that. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. Thanks, put the feelers out. hopefully someone will try to sell it to the wrong person.
