  1. Finnshed with time to enjoy a refreshing beer!
  2. Been looking after the dog all week so it was nice to get sone work done and take the dog with me....still on the Salad...I found that I like a roll up for my lunch....(Spinach and mixed leaf in Sliced Chicken breast)
  3. And around yesterday's corner was a lad I have met once before and is on Arbralk(Trooper Harry). He needed a hand deadwooding a group of pines. The heavy fog in the early morning was burnt off and it turned into a very warm and sunny day. I have been following the "Coffee" thread and I have to say that this Service station self serve was arromatic and delivered a good hit for £1.50. Set me up for the morning so we could just throwine climb etc.....etc...started about 8.30 finnished at 2...happy days.
  4. That makes very good sense LogDog.And that's what I'm doing, but as this thread proves, you never know whats around the next corner .......
  5. But most if all this little chaphas captured my heart and u could never leave him...my little Apprentice Oscar...today he helped me move some timber. I will visit the South by train on social visits....but my work will now be in the North....He's my future:)
  6. I have always wanted a log burner...or real fire. I have one in my bedroom!
  7. It's been a week of soul searching. I have had to decide between traveling for work...or holding out for a job intbe North East..in the last few days my mind has been made up. Although my thread has been going for nearly 2 years I have actually been a travelling Arborist for 20 years on and off....I can no longer do it...I live back ar home yes...but really un rather a beautiful part of the world...
  8. £137? That is such a bargain! These are a must have device (in my opinion)
  9. 1, 000 karma points for you Treequip!
  10. Excellent! What a majestic tree...
  11. For the love of cars now on channel 4 (land rovers going through mud) then Fargo at nine:thumbup:
  12. If you ever get a spare hour or so watch Fargo '"The movie"...it is an exceptional film. From beginning to end it has a twisting storyline, superb actors and a classic scene involving a woodchipper.
  13. Lately I have found less and less T.V interests me. Saturday night is almost unbearable...But it's Sunday! and at last there is a series well worth watching. I have always been a fan of the Cohen Brothers and Fargo "the movie" is amongst my top ten. Although the t.v series is a separate entity it has some core similarities and themes. If you havent seen either, catch up on the first episode from last week. 10/10.
  14. Silky work in a tree is a completely different discipline...if a chainsaw is not being used then the need for ear defenders or chainsaw pants and boots may not be needed..
  15. when i lived in London i was amazed at how much tagging there was in the most unexpected places but i guess that,s the nature of the vandalism...isn,t it ironic that they may now be held accountable because of this database and hopefuly their own personal tag will get them caught!
  16. He will have to tell you jon...it was chestnut.
  17. You opperateit very well...make it look so easy but like you said..a couple of thousand hours at these controls.
