  1. Even took him to the Angel Pub where I met my Son's mother....and he met his!
  2. I travel to work not for the love of the South but to earn money.Meeting new people is a bonus.My heart is in the North and after the amazing day yesterday i had with my Son and my Grandson the pull is even stronger...Ozzy picked up the first stick he found and carried it with him all the wsy to the riverbank...we looked at a carved on in the market...Trees and Wood are in his genes I reckon...As i have mentioned in the past I was adopted and now that i am a Father and Grandfather to spend a sunny day with my lads was Epic!

  4. It was 16 degrees when I left the South yesterday....this morning in Durham tis Zero according my weather app. Feels fresh and I love it! I'm a typical Northern monkey:D

  7. It's been a great Adventure (as always). Me and OMT (Al) have forged a good friendship....Done some good work together, drank some beer and as Mrs Mill Tree Care and kids have been away we have had a proppa lads few days.He is quite domesticated and made me a packed lunch each morning and provided me with work...a very comgortsble stay in a very old house indeed.My favourite room wss the shower as it was originally a gun powder room! Last day and so we headed to wimbledon...couldn't leave the South without doi g a jolly old Lime re-pollard.outstanding view of the Douth downs from the top of the tree! A great lad who doesn't take himself too seriously and is mad about Trees and tree work.A super bloke to work for and now a good friend....Thanks Al....see you again!

  10. Another warm and sunny day yesterday.Relaxing morning in the garden before a little job in the grounds of a beautiful old Hall followed later by Hot and Spicey Pizza!
  11. True mate. But the Jensen 540 munched everything with ease after a short drag and the shifting of the timber made simple with the Arbortrolly!
  12. Quick shower...and a swift Rum then off to Al's friends for Supper....it's been great to meet OMT.
  13. Watching someone go up to the top of a tree on SRT looks effortless!
  14. Yesterday's job with OMT and Roly. Thuja Removal. Good to see the SRT Climbing System in a work scenario (Al uses armour prussick cord with hitch-hiker on poison hi-vee climbing line)
  15. Being Fed by Old Mill tree Care...Bangers and mash last nite
  16. This is the only fully motion sensing driving simulator arena in the world and left me feeling quuite sick...top speed 177 mph. OMT came 2nd out if 5 of us in the race...off to sleep now cos of work 2moro.
