  15. Although a couple if Million pounds is to be spent in here...road surfacing is not on the list so this old tree (which i remember a lot smaller 40 years ago) was rigged all the way down.
  16. Lots going on behind the two sycamore dismantles at the bottom of the park...very slimey after the wet night and i still have no cover for my case so no pictures of those...anyway i just wanted to get our treework done and head up to the Bigger tree at the top of the hill and see the only member of the crew i hadn't yet met...Simon "lead climber" was in full swing by the time i got there.
  17. Yep...just putting pictures from yesterday together now. It was quite a day for me as it,s in my hometown and where I spent my childhood as did my son and now my Grandson! I know every tree in there.
  18. Faltheimers are great but I,ve had my stein cube for a couple of years now and it's in mint condition.
  19. Now THAT was very interesting. I totally get what you,re saying about have some friction within the rigging system, just never thought I would hear you say it! Lots of plus points there indeed.especially about balancing the friction between the rings and the barrel.Very informative vid so thanks for sharing.Great breakfast viewing as usual...just on a sideline,it's true the Spiderjack can be jumpy especially combined with pulley due to its clutch/cramming mechanics and after a couple of years on mine as soon as I tried the ZigZag I swapped permanently...not only does it takes a fraction of the time to master, but combined with a pulley comes into it,s own and thrives on As little friction as possible! Like the sweater by the way..
  20. We are very well eqipped Jon...very productive day indeed..3 dismantles and several stumps ground out..pictures to follow once i've showered and eaten...been a long busy day.
