  1. Here’s my three in prime place in front of the fire
  2. In the summer if you take care it doesn’t damage the lawn. However in the wetter months when it goes out the have ten turf guards we take which are mainly for turning.
  3. About two meters high so plenty high enough.
  4. I’ll have to measure it I put it on a 4 foot wide plant trailer with space either side. The full spec can be downloaded from the sherpa website though.
  5. I use a sherpa wheeled machine, here’s a few shots from this week. It stacked out all the lengths of timber to fell the cedar stick on very easily. And before any one points out the high sink cut there was metal lower down. [emoji2]
  6. Thanks for your input on my job advert thread. Yes there are lots of 4x4 and wealthy people around here. Which means in turn they are happy to pay a fair rate for their tree work. And if they are only having the work done to keep up with the Jone’s next door that’s great more work for us. In turn meaning job security and a good wage for the right person. House prices aren’t that bad but it’s all relative to what you are used to in your area. I probably see more tractors and Landrover’s on the road outside my house. I’m 15 minutes from my yard and it’s pretty rural not a neighbour in sight out of my window!

  9. Just outside Guildford in Surrey. To be honest the only arb site I’ve posted the job on is Arbjobs. The rest have been standard recruitment sites. I’ll post it on here and the usual social media one too. It’s a secure job with a good mixture of tree work and good kit.
  10. I’m offering £37k for a Climber/foremen who can run a team for me with only a few applicants so far.
  11. I bought it from a dealer who sourced it from Evans Read, cut out the middle man and go straight to them. I think around £800-£900 but it could of been as much as £1000 plus VAT. Here’s a pic from today
  12. Cheers, I should of read the whole thread. I'm waiting to hear back from the dealer on Monday about the air filter letting sawdust in.
