  2. what if you are walkin back onehanded or body trust up and you hitch wont grab.... that you have to shockload your hitch before it would grab...not really good idea tho...

  15. lesser friction on the friction saver means more force on your prussik loop and that means more heat. that's something you should keep in mind

  18. So tis would be my first post around here! Rupe, imo FS are not only to remove friction also to save the tree by not burning the bark ore worse! and the wear of your rope is also less and using a RD instade of a fork its easier to remove your RD than climb back trugh the fork again! and no friction is also a reason but not the only one! (sorry for my english i thinks it's not correct?)
