  1. well done just some quick observations Alexandr, on a tree like that which is structurally poor I'd be letting the branches and timber run to the ground. If you look back at the top at 1.00 your groundsman lets it run then brings it to an abrupt halt creating a huge amount of movement at the top of the tree. This defeats the purpose of letting it run unless he can bring the load to a gradual stop which is very difficult. Sometimes you have to think of rigging more as guided freefall when dealing with structurally poor trees. Could you have ziplined that tree into the woods using a slack zipline taking lighter pieces? or a vertical speedline? Removed some fence panels and felled the tree from the base into the forest? Just some ideas. Good job anyway, cheers for posting the vid . .
  2. It's Sitka Spruce .
  3. Your white guilt is pathetic Kevin. Masochistic. Always telling when leftist liberals like yourself omit the various Islamic caliphates from history with their slavery of black Africans, over 100 million black Africans enslaved by Muslims, many of the male slaves castrated. Let's talk about the Muslim Ottoman Empire and the genocide of over 1.5 million Armenians yes? No, didn't think so, it doesn't fit your white/western guilt narrative. How long do you want to blame the west for everything that's gone wrong in the world for anyway? The Mongol empire, the Roman Empire, the Greeks and Persians, the Visigoths etc - history is a cycle of conquest and defeat. No one group of people is innocent in that sense. Your grasp of world history is pitiful. The Ropewrench is still great though. .
  4. Mass immigration was the policy of New Labour, Tony Blair, Peter Mandleson, Jack Straw and the rest of them forced mass immigration on Britain in order to rub diversity in the noses of the Tories and flood the country with new Labour voters. It was a huge ego trip by Blair. But he forgot to ask the British public, mass immigration doesn't affect elites like Tony Blair, they're far removed from the effects of their failed policies. They don't see how communities disintegrate. Ironically Brexit is a direct result of this New Labour policy, the so called party of the working class betrayed the British working class, which is why the Leave vote came back so strong from traditional working class areas. . Fortunately, we're slowly the finding the answer to the disaster of mass immigration. in 6 weeks time we will see Labour virtually wiped off the face off the political map in Britain and it will all be at their own hands. They betrayed the British people and now they're finished. .
  5. Part of the reason you ask that question is due to the rate of migration we've had into Britain in recent years, you have had to expand and water down your definition of what you are because you have people coming in so fast that what would've been your definition of yourself stop holding true to you. If you'd asked someone 50 years what are British values you can be damn sure they'd know the answer, they'd have said it loud and clearly, they are epitomised in a set of historic institutions, the institutions of parliament, the institution of trial by jury and the high courts, the great schools and universities, the monarchy, our Christian heritage, the respect of the democratic process, freedom of speech and so on and so forth. You've forgotten who you are. And the worst thing about that, is that you betray our forefathers and your ancestors who made the sacrifices necessary and fought so hard to give us the life and freedoms we live with today. 'what are British values?' If you don't know who you are, you're not anything. These men knew......a different breed. . .
  6. You're right, back to the election .
  7. I don't live in a leafy suburban part of Glasgow. Mull, watch the Douglas Murray video and refute any of his points regarding the migrant crisis. Otherwise stop drinking half bottles of cheap Co Op whiskey late into the night, you know it weakens your critical faculties mate. .
  8. Douglas Murray, editor of The Spectator offering some clear sighted observations on the migrant/refugee crisis in Europe - [ame= ] [/ame]
  9. Greengui, genuinely mate, was that supposed to be a robust comeback. You're not even registering as a person with slightly interesting posts, other than your culturally suicidal promotion of halal meat being forced on British kids, which was actually more disturbing than interesting. You're definitely ignorant of Islam, the Koran, the Hadith and Sharia. Carry on though it's amusing watching a grown man with such a shallow intellect on public display. .
  10. Lots of typically weak, vaguely leftwing politically correct posts tonight from the apologists for Islam. They argue in the abstract, detached from the very real problems created by a totalitarian religious ideology that has unfortunately gained special privilege in the west. The fact greengui thinks that halal meat being forced on indigenous British children is funny tells you he's happy to be cuckolded by Islam. A truly pathetic condition for a man to be in. Looking forward to seeing more of the lefty pro Islam/pro Islamist arguments as this thread continues, it lets us observe the pitiful self loathing of people who have no grasp of history and the precarious nature of democracy and how it must be defended against the intolerance and bigotry of the 'religion of peace'
  11. Sure....
  12. Martin Luther King the supposedly 'good Christian' of higher ethical standards regularly hired prostitutes and took part in seedy gangbangs. Wonder what his wife made of his status as a moral leader? You people worship leftist demigods you know nothing about. You know Che Guevara raped a young girl and executed a 12 year old boy by shooting him at point blank range in the back of the head? The boy's crime? He was screaming at Che for executing his dad. Spare a thought for them next you see an imbecile with a Che T-Shirt on. Look into the history and the real people behind the propaganda. .
  13. Let us know how that works out for you mate. .
  14. A recent Pew poll found that 30% of European Muslims want Sharia Law Are you that ignorant of the facts? Trevor Philips poll for his Ch4 documentary on the failure of multiculturalism found that over 50% of British Muslims want homosexuality made illegal, how does that fit in with your message of peace and tolerance? It doesn't. Are you willing to defend liberal western values of tolerance and freedom against the intolerant tendencies of Islam and the Islamists who seek to inculcate all Muslims with their sick ideology? .
  15. Interesting you make a clear distinction between the indigenous population of Europe and 'the other' whoever that may be. Your mask of political correctness fell off there to reveal your true thoughts on race. Are we not all one people then in your multicultural utopia? Obviously not by your reckoning. Although its interesting you choose to live in a place that is 99.9% white with almost no religious or cultural diversity. .
  16. The acts I described above were carried out in the name of Islam you moronic cretin. A fact you're intent on trying to diminish with feeble moral relativism. Living in Mull has meant you've developed the average IQ of an inbred subnut. .
  17. As serious as a 7 year old Swedish girl behind sliced in half by a truck in Stockholm a couple weeks ago. Is that serious enough for you? How about a young soldier, Lee Rigby being beheaded on the street in broad daylight? Concert goers at the Bataclan in Paris being machined gunned then tortured by having their genitals removed and mutilated (both men and women) and their eyes gouged out? Is that serious enough you ignorant imbecile. How much more stupid can you be? .
  18. Marine Le Pen some very reasonable arguments, can see why huge numbers of French citizens are voting for her - [ame= ] [/ame]
  19. It's not all about poverty and non-integration. Bin Laden was from a very wealthy family. Most of the 9/11 hijackers were western educated university students from well off Saudi families - Mohammed Atta etc. Many British born muslims who've travelled to Syria to join ISIS are from affluent families. Aqsa Mahmood went to Hutchisons Private School in Glasgow and was at uni when she left to join ISIS. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/world/2014/sep/06/scottish-woman-married-isis-fighter-martyr-aqsa-mahmood It's about the Islamist ideology not poverty and segregation. .
  20. random Vesp, mental even. Probably the first time in internet history Jesus Christ Superstar has been used in a political discussion. Now skip to 1.00 in this one, press play and watch SNP voters addressing Nicola Sturgeon - [ame= ] [/ame]
  21. Douglas Murray's latest book, I've already pre-ordered it, know a few switched on folk here will be interested. The Strange Death of Europe is a highly personal account of a continent and culture caught in the act of suicide. Declining birth-rates, mass immigration and cultivated self-distrust and self-hatred have come together to make Europeans unable to argue for themselves and incapable of resisting their own comprehensive change as a society. This book is not only an analysis of demographic and political realities, but also an eyewitness account of a continent in self-destruct mode. It includes reporting from across the entire continent, from the places where migrants land to the places they end up, from the people who appear to welcome them in to the places which cannot accept them. Told from this first-hand perspective, and backed with impressive research and evidence, the book addresses the disappointing failure of multiculturalism, Angela Merkel's U-turn on migration, the lack of repatriation and the Western fixation on guilt. Murray travels to Berlin, Paris, Scandinavia, Lampedusa and Greece to uncover the malaise at the very heart of the European culture, and to hear the stories of those who have arrived in Europe from far away. In each chapter he also takes a step back to look at the bigger issues which lie behind a continent's death-wish, answering the question of why anyone, let alone an entire civilisation, would do this to themselves? He ends with two visions of Europe one hopeful, one pessimistic which paint a picture of Europe in crisis and offer a choice as to what, if anything, we can do next. 22. He addressed that issue here making some valid points on the US strike on Syria [ame= ] [/ame]
  23. You've lost the argument when all you can say is, 'fake news' If you disagree with his analysis then tell us why, don't just bleet, "fake news". Respond to the points raised in his video in a constructive critical manner by all means. Saying "fake news" just makes you look ill-informed and ignorant of the facts.
