  5. iv bin asked to take out a lombardy poplar its quit a size at the base (4ft) and it got polarded 4 years ago. iv given a price to remove it (he is a builder) now he wants me to remove it over 2 years as he is worryed about the building next to the tree (gound becoming wet as the tree ent taken the water out the ground and roots rotting will make that ground unstable) any thought on this all this is well over my head im after some advice please cheers martin

  9. 2nd hand Komet Butterfly what do u think one is worth. its in good nick it has not bin used all that much dad has just used it for mainly for the bigger fuit trees

  12. iv got this fungus on a walnut tree can anyone help me out 1. i would like to no what the fungi is and 2. is the little holes in the dead wood (wood worm) cheers for any help martin

  15. we might be in busness as iv just tryd to run a sharp knife down a bit of the bore and it dont mark it and iv just run the knife on the out side of the bore and it score miles easier
  16. i used a expanding reamer to get the score out of the bore how do u get scores out of ur bores mate

  19. that dont sound good mate take a look at this let me find it first 25 mins and u will be stripped it down
  20. and this is the CYL witch i made such a good job of (to me this CYL looks like it has what i can messure a 3mm sleve in the bore ) but if the Cyl has bin plated in the bore then its no good now
  21. just looked for u spudulike it has stihl 1121 on one side and as u gessed mahle 427n12 w4on the other thats the Cyl and as for the piston mahle 42l33+
  22. i can tell u the piston in the saw is what was in it when it was new as dad brought the saw new and has never replaced anything i thoguth it was strange as all the info iv found is with 2 rings in this saw

  24. i need some advise i have a old 024 witch iv cleaned the bore up what i wont to no is. the old piston had only 1 piston ring on it but every piston set i can buy has 2 pistion rings on them would this make a difference or do i need to spend a bit of time on my lathe turning up a new piston with one ring on it i cant see where the extra ring would make a difference/ be a problem but thought i would ask and see what what feed back i could get cheer martin
  25. when i went self employed i went to see a accountant he done all the paper work for me just had to sign some papers he told me i done the rite thing going to see him first as he new what papers to fill in what details to give them etc got see a accountant they will do it all for u easy
