  2. mig it up or grind the crack out and arch it up will be stronger than it was new

  5. look at the pics the top of the piston goes up higher than the top of the squish we turned the base of the pot lower than the squish so the piston would hit the top of the pot say then turn the top of the piston so u get ur squish back i belive the squish is 0.55mm on that 357 was not going to put it back in the lathe to turn 0,05mm off the base of the pot does that make sence gives u a lot more compreshion

  7. i wound not need to chip it why would i want to do that if i can use a digger and burn it if i had to chip it i would what ever is easier is how i look at things
  8. steves (spud) 357 now has a pop up piston :lol: and the squish is really good
  9. 2 ways i would do that job first one if iv got alot of work 3ton digger scrape it all out in a day 2nd way if u ent much work use a clearing saw with a saw head cut the bottems and pull out with a pair of welding gloths i would be looking at the digger 1 day 2 men dont chip it lift in the the back of the van and find a tip site to burn or burn on site 3 ton digger hear cost me £110 if u can burn on site £500 if u have to take it all away £600 thats what i would do

  14. did u buy the one of ebay and swinny if u get really stuck with ur 024 send it to spud and if ur pot is naf we will put a 026 pot on it i will a vid in a a bit just to shouw u can do it
  15. i only managed to get 4-5 pic today as we worked hard most the day tested the rc2000 out big time :lol: as u do i never get to use it as im always in the tree

  18. wash the bolts down with methes ,white spirt then loc tite 601 they wont full of again lol
  19. and it worked really well 2-3 mods to be done on it before i weld it all up
  20. they are form B&Q could only buy 10 bolts 10 washers and 10 nuts :lol: normal shop i use closes at 12 on a saturday i wanted them about 2pm today so could not really tell them where to stick there m12s
  21. 10 pound for a 1m 25mm round bar for the axle i had the rest kicking about iv just had a quick look at prices metal £30 for the black stuff 30x50 main beam 50x50 £20 wheels not shore bolts 10pound and what ever the weld cost u
  22. i thought about that but thought if i make it so it will go through a gate and i have a 12hp 2 wheel tractor saves me the pulling lol just hope it works tomorrow

  24. first thing do u no what lenght of stoke ur 024 has is it a 024 super 024 has a 30mm stroke 026 has a 32mm stroke 024 super has a 32mm stroke my 024 av has a 30mm stroke iv fitted a 026 (44mm) pot and piston to it and it works fine but u need to mood the pot 7hope that helps u out it u need more help on the matter PM me or spud im shore we can help u out
