  1. The beast is cool! Would be interested to see more of the THT. Keep up the great work David!👍
  2. You could tip at John Birds site on Fountains lane just of Maldon road near the Heckford Angel.
  3. What about a Renault Kangoo 4x4? I missed out on one a few weeks back, gutted!!
  4. They are both made by Antal. When they are sold as X rings they are approved for rigging. When they are sold as Antal they are only approved for sailing applications. A moot point but if there was an accident whilst using them I don't think Antal would be liable. Speak to David at X rings he will clarify I'm sure.
  5. There are limitless applications for X rings. For some ideas watch the x man videos where David explains various applications and uses. The X rings have been rated and approved for rigging where the Antal rings are for sailing applications. Very easy to splice and very light! The Beast Xrings are AWSOME!!
  6. +1 🙈 looks like it to me.
  7. Spikes don't get LOLER'd. Nice choice with the Gekos.
  8. I thought the outer bollard on the smart winch was for big and negative rigging?
  9. Matt, how do you stop the fairies taking it if it's a push button start?
  10. I find the ear protection very good. I adjusted the tension and they are spot on!
  11. Those rings have a higher SWL than a block, they are amazing bits of kit. Take a look at the beast rigging ring on Tom Hoffmans YouTube.
  12. Also shows the Rope Runner.
  13. Portaledge fits your bill. Depends how much room and weight you want to carry. I use a Hennesey Hammock, ultralight and very simple.
  14. Maybe modify a muck truck?
  15. Portawinch also make larger ones for forestry I think.
  16. If using the red lever gives you a headache you have it adjusted wrong. Love mine it's the best helmet I've ever had!👍
  17. Jon, they are good winches on a truck but I thought the Op wanted options for a lightweight portable rig?
