Just a heads up to you all. The Petzl prices go up on the first of may buy about 14% so if any of you was after a Sequoia harness, or Vent helmet now is the time to buy to save yourself a few pounds. (they will be cheaper now than at the AA show) Hope this is of help to someone. Cheers, Justin.

Good luck James its a good ride I've done it myself, can't do it this year but I'll be going down their to meet my lot for a drink afterwards so I might catch you for a beer or several.

Profit on saws is tight but we sell a lot of them and most people take spare chains, oil and some climbing gear. We also try to build a good relationship with the customer so they come back for gear in the future, so its a win, win situation.

I have just spoken to a few people and they are up for a drink on Friday after the show. So if you like we can meet at my marquee at 5 ish for a couple on the Jones whilst we close up, then head down to the Pied Bull for a few or more. We can see if we can take the local over again like last year. Who's up for it then.

David I have one of those you can borrow and see how you get on with it, I won't be using it for a while.

Or get bitten by a moray eel at 25m and having to do a safety stop with blood pouring out my hand on a shark dive. Still went back in the next day.

Love the night dives did one in the Maldives, came up for a safety stop and you could see it raining on the surface, felt a bit James Bondy for a while.
