  1. Have had a D30 for nearly 2 years and it has been a great machine. Tried 3 machines when I was choosing a new grinder and this was by far the best built and least complicated machine. It is heavy and sinks in wet ground if you don't put the duals on but the hydraulic steering and easily engaged/disengaged dif make it really manoeuvrable. FSI have been great on warranty. And the kubota engine isn't lacking. Get one on demo you won't be disappointed.
  2. I'm looking to get some large Oak butts milled in to boards for a customer. They are around 15-18' long and between 36"-26" in diameter. There is a telehandeler on site to assist moving lifting. Will pay good money if anyone is interested. Message me on here or call 07778 288698. Thanks
  3. 395 xp is a great saw! Don't know about a661 but I've got a 660 and i always pick up the 395 instead.
  4. Have you tried Paul at Vermeer uk I found him most helpful his email is: [email protected] I emailed and he was back to me within 2 hours and out for a demo within 1 week.
  5. Found a Rolex watch thought I'd had it off till one of the lads said " what's the second hand doing?" I said "ticking" They said "it's a fake real ones don't tick they go round smoothly" Throw it in the next conifer and carried on!
  6. Just watched that about 10 times! What on earth was he trying to do? It was going wrong from the very beginning!
  7. Been using one for tree work for 11 yeRs she's a bit tiered now and will be due an upgrade this year. That said a lovely simple machine to drive and to fix. The outside is strong with good metal mud guards and will handle a nock or two. If you going to use it on the road a lot I would look at something newer!
