Maybe a 9-5 job could help (a change is as good as a rest) or a health resort for three weeks. Wish you all best with your health.

Wishing everybody a Merry Xmas.

I've asked for no presents this year unless I specifically ask for it. I've got too much stuff as it is, and if I want something, I generally buy it (within reason, of course. The gold plated Unimog is a way off yet).
Same for the kids. If they need it and it's warranted. They've way too many toys already.
I don't understand why people go so far as to put themselves in financial difficulties over Christmas. They were talking about it on Call you and yours on R4 the other day. Madness.
Credit cards get people into trouble.

So that’s that. Helped by using amazon.
Probably a thousand plus Euros
Sometimes i think it would be better waiting for the sales.
not for the kids of cause.
My sister works in Fenwicks toy department.
its sometimes worse working there after Xmas
Having to deal with all the refunds or exchanges.

The accident report is unbelievable! Now it recommends that it’s arborists use battery chainsaws and have three anchor points...... three anchors would of held the guy so ridgid it would of probably killed him.
So now there climbers will have an even harder time trying to bail out if it goes tits up and double the likely happening of barbers chairs with a slower cutting saw .... what tits make up these rules???Crazy, totally agree with you.

Maybe something like this
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Jasmine-Gloves-Thermal-Medium-100gsm/dp/B001RCKSB6
and keeping the pulse area of the wrist warm is good ( wrist warmers ).

Homemade BigShot
in Climbers talk
Posted
i made my own , picture on page 3.
The rubber part (Big Shot) is 34 pounds or 84 for the complete head .
for anything over 20 meters the big shot is definitely worth having
just buy the complete head it slides on most poles
