Judges decision is final. The scoring is calculated on my nice little simple excel spreadsheet. I'll stick it on so everyone can see how the scoring will work and see that speed ain't everything when I get a chance.
  10. I've always appreciated the simplicity and effectiveness of the hammer! The idea is for a belt and braces approach to disputed trees though, so the LITE would add, not replace, to our arsenal! Does it take much more time to setup and use than the ful fat picus?

  15. Nice Tim, I think it would help if posters could add an explanation of how they think the photos/trees came to be as you've done. Cheers mate
  16. Having a demo for PICUS Lite at the end of the month with a view to shaking off the last of the 2007 budget. Anyone had any experience with the low fat picus?
  17. Cheers mate, thats exactly the sort of thing she's after.
  18. Friend of mine need is currently doing a research project for college on tree biology. She needs photos of codit, branch attachments, reaction growth, odd vta symptoms. Anything that illustrates basic tree biology principles. I've gone through my snaps but I though it would be a good plan to ask you guys for your collective experience. Bring em on.
  19. Me neither. Occaisionally on dead stumps but i can't ever remember it on a live tree. Cool.
  20. Its a bit off mate is all. ............................................................... <---Line drawn under it! Anyway, I think you'd be suprised how much of a range "...my way..." encompasses. It might even cover some of "...your way..."!
  21. Sorry, but I don't personally see the comparison. Some people might take extreme offence to that. Could you explain it to me? How does my responsibility under the law turn me into a genocidal fascist dictator?
  22. imagine an identical situation where a chap calls you up with the same issues - what would you suggest. I'm not saying there is a wrong or right, i'm saying I'd do something else I think.
