  1. It was great - I got in some rec climbing in a great beech. with an other climber. Plans for this weekend are in Florida with several other TB'erz a group climb.
  2. What about magnetic signs on the truck - what is requirements on that. Then you can take them off when you are working for the other place. Great pictures thanks for sharing jz
  3. that would be nice for a ballcap - us yank wear them a lot - decal and big sticker for the auto
  4. Hey guys, Can you explain this to a person that has never been that far east? your UK Arboricultural practise - do you need a permit to remove a tree? Thanks from across the pond JZ in a tree for fun
  5. Sometimes the hot air coming out of certain areas was enough for a sail and once I caught the gulf stream, All I had to do was look for the trees and the smell of sawdust to the shores. Great place you have here thanks for allowing a Rec without a climbers passport land for a bit.
  6. The trees are what you are all about - I like the arbtalk with out the roots Post # 20 - IF you like the roots maybe just not as bunched up and with a line that would show the ground - AS you do take care of the WHOLE tree not just the upper section. my 2 pence

  8. My hands - the fingers cramp up and get very soar. Maybe all the typing I do, not the tree climbing, but the ropes are soft and I wear gloves. jz
  9. here is me standing next to a big beech in a VERY old (for US) cemetary - New Jersey - she be about 200 plus years of age I am hoping to climb here in october I love their bark
  10. YES - PFD - sort of like PPE for a river - but with different letters - Personal Floation device (a life jacket). pictures included (mine is orange and black)- and don't say people on here don't wear spandex and helmets. here is proof. . . . enjoy the trees you climb jz
  11. GEE this sounds like my kind of place. Ok - Rec climber here and I like to be SEEN in the tree. So I will have to get a few pictures of my colorful outfits posts. Going out to COLORado in a few and plan to wear PINK hawaiin shirts in the trees. A girl has to look good. OOPS - i broke a nail. he he - HI ALL jz
  12. THANKS It was a LONG swim - I have a PFD so that kept me afloat. anyone got a towel. jz
