  3. Sandwich?? lol, that would be a sand .
  4. A bit of tidying up and a sandwich before painting.
  5. I've got two routers both using 1/4" shank , the smallest is 1.5mm straight flute upwards. I've tried most wood and have no preference really, the key is don't buy cheap router bits. I brought the plunge bit today for my smallest router to make it easier for fine detail work. I do have a dremel but rarely use it for this now.
  6. Made from sycamore, ready to be routered out.
  7. The beginning of a sign I'm doing, customer even said I can inlay my wooden business card in there as a bit of advertising.
  8. That's because Andy is the man and your his b.... Well done with all the hard work Steve
  9. This weekends job a sunflower circle, surrounded by plum slate with a mixed evergreen hedge or laural and red robin.
  10. There are a few different ways of doing it , this one I printed on photo paper, glued photo face down with a liqutex gel, wait overnight. Then soak the backing paper with water until you can see the picture and slowly rub off. Be careful if you rub to hard you can remove the picture.

    Geo fix

I have used geofix for all my patios recently and haven't had a problem to date. I find that using plenty of water with it works better. Do you have any pictures of the problem what is the width of joint your filling.
  14. As Rob said above really, i've sold a few with food safe oil on them. There are loads of people selling them in shops and on the internet, so you should be fine.
  15. Might be because its a burr as well, or you didn't tidy up after the last bowl you turned. Either way its a nice looking bowl .
  16. Think it might be the wood your using, mdf is not very good at getting wet imo. I use a gel glue instead of acetone, various different ways.
  17. What method have you been using then.
