  2. Hey hey don't be coming on my thread with your yank 'everythings bigger in the USA'' attitude, you can only come on this thread if you've caught bugger all or tiddlers.... Only kidding very nice fish, lure or bait caught? if you like fishing i've got a link for you, hang on a min
  3. Nice little rig and at a bargain price Charlieh, have you got a link for those rod holders, i've been looking for some to go on the seat or transom. You thought about a fishfinder, fancy a cheap little Hummingbird or something of the like. Will you make Norfolk for the Mackerel run?
  4. I'm coming down the river for you in one of these, should be here in the morning can't wait.. http://www.walkerbay.com/products/genesis_rigid.php Powered by this http://www.elyboatchandlers.com/chandlery/outboard-motors/honda-outboards/honda-bf10-lru.html Heres a video [ame] [/ame] My only dilema is which road and reel to get, for bass fishing... It isn't anything special but the boat should make for a bit of a laugh, any local bass bashers fancy coming onboard for a bit of drift fishing down the Deben?
  5. Hmm might get a new Landcruiser next year instead, saying that though i've only got good things to say about Nissan.. If you wan't a new Nissan you won't go wrong with buying from these folk ''Hammonds Nissan Halesworth Suffolk'' tell I sent yah.....
  6. A top man from VOSA told me you can register a vehicle as to whatever you want, but you get a VOSA road side check and the inspector thinks you're taking the pee, you'll be up before a magistrate!! All this rubbish about ag registered etc is all a load of BS and thats from the horses mouth, the head area inspector! Dual purpose vehicle!! haha thats a new one to me lol I hope you've got a good excuse or a HGV if your towing over 750kg and if your 7.5 toner is out working you better have and ''O'' licence.. It makes me laugh with some on here, always trying to dodge the law! if your gonna break the break it! don't beat about the bush!
  7. Just had a read, well I never new that , it seems to be a D22 problem. Thanks for bringing it to light WARNING to anyone thinking of buying a new D300 looks like Nissan won't fix the conrod ie blown engine problem under warrenty...
  8. Heck how the hell does he drive? i've got a fuel moniter on screen dashboard moniter gizmo, I can get 35 mpg long distance and 28 around town no probs. I'll be swapping my Pathfinder in next year for another, so far the Pathfinder/Navara is the best truck i've ever owned, i'll go for automatic next time.
  9. I've had 2 Navaras without any probs what so ever, Jap trucks win hands down on reliability! what i'd like is a Landcruiser commercial/pick-up.. I had a brand new td5 defender, and i'll never ever have another unless a Jap company fingers crossed buy them out, then i'd have one like a shot!
  10. Maybe lack of work ie no money!
  11. What we had here in EA so far 2 weeks of summer like weather, anyone seen the forcast for the next few days, yep get the woolies out max temp for Ipswich on Saturday is 15c yep thats right 15c..
  12. £700 per course + assesment costs , how many courses are there? a mate told me to train a bloke to AA contractor scheme standard from start to finish with wages costs over 16k
  13. Good post, my problem is NPTC courses are way too expensive
  14. Sorry about that Kiwi, Brits have trouble getting to grips with vans and trucks nice shredders lol
  15. Maybe we should be allowed to use common sense! health and safety this H&S that loada manure..
  16. Throw the culprit in the stocks, put a sign around his neck reading ''enviromental vandal'' get coach loads of school children to through rotten eggs and vegtables at him, tons of ammo to be found in skips behind Asda!!
  17. For the climbing Arborist I would like to see a 2 day a week course run for 2 years, exams for practical and theory, during the course, not exactly rocket science is it! For the purely practical worker same or similer as above, leaving out the Arb theory, again not rocket science! None of the above will ever happen , too much money being made from training, well how many courses do NPTC/Lantra do? they'd have one for getting dressed in the morning if they had there way! how extortionate are the prices? how much money are these training orgs etc making off of our backs? How incompetent are the trainers/training standards, really how good is the training in general? as already said, newbs with tickets can barely sharpen a saw! I won't spend a penny on training somebody ever again up just too expensive! hopefully when its time for my son to train up commonsense will have prevailed, i'm not holding my breath though!
  18. Hum hard one that, maybe nomadic ak47 totting pasturalist, or paranoid scared farmer [something like the farmers from the Magnificent 7] Or I might gather the clans and become the next Ghengis Khan.............. yeah that sounds better, I want an instant end to civilised society now now now, wink wink , i'm going to invade Surrey first orf! far too many rich capitalists and yuppies live/lived down that way..
