  1. rightly or wrongly, i go for nice and light....and in particular i look out for the headband material...a lot of the helmets give me a rash in the summer. the ones with the furry headbands are the worst. i wear plugs and glasses so attachment options are of no interest to me personally.
  2. been nice following this thread rupe, thanks for taking the time to document it so well
  3. i wanna trio and i want one now...possibly the most catchy and irritating commercial ever?

  7. damm, cant have nothing nice for long this part of the country
  8. i normally do the felling along with the climbing for that company
  9. nah i dont use the buck for anything other than my climbing gear and saws so no need.
  10. thinking about it yes...have an awfully busy year anyway with shows though, going to pittsburgh fo the expo in november, so chicago mght be pushing it a bit
  11. yeah i read that somewhere, that was what made me go for this stuff.
  12. £450+vat i looked at all the other options and felt this had enough benefits to make it worth the extra. oh, i did get a free mug too though so that made it all worthwhile:biggrin:
  13. got it in one!!! when do you need a trim again by the way?
  14. Just picked up the truck from the shop where its had the buck sprayed with speedliner....its taken me a while to get round to getting it done, but im well pleased with the results now i have. This stuff is enforced with kevlar too, very strong, and looks really neat:thumbup1: SPEEDLINER EUROPE
  15. stick his money up £5 a day and get him to start supplying his own saw etc, jobs a good 'un
  16. well the thing is, the camera only shows one perspective, it doesnt show that where my line was there was no chance of it snagging....someone inexperienced could easily overlook that and apply the technique to everything.
  17. yeah...well most of us at least....anyone whose anyone bought one....not got yours yet, no?
  18. because my rate doubles when i put my harness on
  19. new england fly...its getting old now to be fair...i keep trying every rope that comes out but always end up going back to the fly, might buy some more. the retrieval line was just the tail end of my climbing line with a krab attached.....then clipped to a krab on my harness to keep it at hand. obviously you have to be exceptionally cautious and make sure your line isnt going to get snagged....not the best technique to promote perhaps:001_rolleyes: WEETABIX!
  20. a nice natural coronet i came across today for monkeyd! camera phone unfortunately so pics arent the best
