  1. as if yes not every bit went smoothly obviously. i did include one of the gaffs in the original edit, but the video came in at 12 minutes and had to reduce it to come within youtubes 10 minute time frame. doesnt make for interesting viewing watching me faffing about trying to get limbs unstuck either:biggrin:
  2. looks almost like a bald man wearing a really long skirt...thats all i can think of
  3. love the shadow effect on the wood henge(is that what you call it?), except one of the shadows is a REALLY odd shape...what made that?
  4. wont there be palax being demo'd at the show?
  5. dont be silly mate, its a request. not mandatory. i appreciate many of you dont do your own websites and dont expect anyone to go to the expense of getting someone to put it up specially
  6. i'd disagree with this statement..... as i understand it(with my limited knowledge of rope strucutre) kernmantle ropes have their strength in the core unlike arb ropes which is spread between the core and cover.....rock climbing ropes are kernmantle, but the only arb rope i know of which is specifically kernmantle is the New England Fly...and maybe Donaghy's NRG. im ready to be enlightened though by you people in the know discuss
  7. if i had some you'd be more than welcome
  8. that would probably be a good way forward:001_smile: cheers john
  9. your web guy would be able to sort that easy enough. regarding selling your kit from your site...im not sure the effort and finances involved would make it worthwhile when you have a better(and larger) target audience here that you can sell to for free?
  10. Some of you have links to your websites in your signatures...whilst this is fine for your business websites(so long as it doesnt infringe the forum guidelines or lead to a website competing with the forum sponsors), as you know link building creates a better presence for us all in google, therefore it would be expected(and appreciated) for you to reciprocate this from your own websites thanks
  11. chris, my comment regarding hms krabs wasnt to suggest they dont fit, more that the ovals are the recommended krab
  12. you can tie it absolutely anyway you want. it just becomes a slightly different knot. sometimes i even put a cross over inbetween the braids...making it an xt
  13. naturally its you being daft:001_tongue: it doesnt look like ive done much to be fair...luckily i have the video footage to prove there was some substantial sized lumps removed
  14. thats fantastic....hope you have a better class of people over there though, some lout would set that on fire in a jiffy over here
  15. i cant remember, im sure ive seen that done though at a comp one year....think they may have drilled a hole thinking about it. i use a sawpod these days so its not an issue.
  16. if i remember rightly...a tiewrap will fit in the slot there
  17. varied from tree to tree. couple had to have couple limbs out of the tips, but most of them, up to about 70ft i guess
  18. so the hitch climber is designed to work best with oval krabs....by your reasoning, should they also redesign the product for those users who dont wish to replace their hms krabs?
  19. at least this isnt going round in circles
  20. so what you're saying is you've been sat on the toilet for the past hour and telling your missus you're constipated
  21. that was posted months ago mate.....pay attention in class
  22. i bought a pantin and bungee from nod. took the pantin cam off the ankle strap, then had an old webbing sling stitched directly to the cam and a biner...this then clips to the ankle strap on a small oval link. i'll get a pic tomorrow if i remember.
